| Morning
departure by car northwards. Stop to visit Mae Sa Elephant camp and an
orchid nursery. Continue on a winding mountain road to Pai stopping to visit
Mok Fah waterfall. Picnic lunch enroute. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk
around the marketplace and a chance to appreciate the scenic Pai valley.
Overnight in Pai.

| Sightseeing
around Pai. E.g. Sightseeing at the local tourists attraction include Ta Pai
Hot Spring and fresh mud therapy, Mae Yen Waterfall, Wat Nam Hu houses the
sacred, 111-cm tall Luang Phor Une Muang from the Chiang Saen period.

| After
breakfast, continue towards Soppong. The area boasts some limestone caves,
said to be some of the largest in South-East Asia. After a short walk,
explore the main cave, Tham Lod. A stream flows through the cave which must
occasionally be crossed by bamboo raft. After lunch at a local restaurant,
continue to Mae Hong Son, stopping for an unforgettable elephant ride to
Padong Long-necked Hilltribe Village. Local lunch will be provided before a
boat trip on Pai River. Transfer to Mae Hong Son Hotel.

After breakfast, visit the local market
and the nearby Wat Jong Kham and Wat Jong Klang temples by foot. Lunch at a
local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Wat Doi Kong Mou, built on a
hilltop overlooking the town before your transfer to the airport for flight
to Chiang Mai. Onward connecting flight or transfer to Chiang Mai hotel.
