Once was a Mecca for backpackers, artists and hedonists, Samui is now a unique holiday destination with an extraordinary spirit and incredible number of spas and healing centres.

ARRIVE CHIANG MAI
On arrival in Chiang Mai you will be met by your Exotissimo guide and transferred to your hotel. In the morning visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, North Thailand’s most famous and important temple situated on a hill overlooking the city. This spectacular shrine commissioned by King Kuena, ruler of Chiang Mai from 1367-88, who according to legend, was led to the site by a magical white elephant. In the afternoon, transfer to Baan Sabai Village, just outside the city and spend the afternoon appreciating the spa facilities set in a delightful tropical garden. You will have an Aroma Bath and experience Aroma therapy (approx 3-4 hours). After the treatments transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

CHIANG MAI (B)
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and take you to visit the most important and interesting sites in Chiang Mai. You will visit:
  • Wat Chedi Luang was built in 1391 during the reign of King Saen Muang Ma, 8th ruler of the Mengrai dynasty. The massive chedi (pagoda) was expanded over the centuries, until it reached its final form in 1475. The temple once housed the famous Emerald Buddha, which is now in Bangkok.
     
  • Wat Chiang Man is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai, older even than the city, it was constructed during the reign of King Mengrai, who lived in the temple while overseeing the founding of Chiang Mai. The temple possesses one of the most treasured artifacts in Thailand—a Buddha image called the Phra Sae Tang Kamani (Crystal Buddha).
     
  • Wat Phra Singh was built in the 14th century by King Phayco of the Mengrai dynasty and currently houses Pra Thongtip, the most venerated Buddha statue in northern Thailand. Cast in 1477, it is made of an alloy of gold and copper.
In the afternoon return to Baan Sabai Village to experience a herbal Stream Massages and Facial Massages (Approx 3 hours). After the treatments, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

CHIANG MAI (B)
After breakfast, drive north to the mountainous Mae Sa Valley. Visit an orchid Nursery & Butterfly Farm before arriving at Mae Sa Elephant Camp.where you will see the elephants taking their morning bath in the streams before commencing their day’s work piling up logs, etc. After the show take an elephant ride through the forest (50 minutes). In the afternoon return to Baan Sabai Village to enjoy a reflexology foot massage and pedicure. After the treatments, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

CHIANG MAI - BANGKOK - KOH SAMUI (B)
After breakfast, drive to the artisans village of Sankhamhaeng to discover the many traditional cottage industries that survive in North Thailand. Each community specilaises in a different skill or trade. You will see a silversmith, silk weavers and other textile manufacturers, traditional Laquerware makers and a colourful umberella factory. In the afternoon transfer to Chiang Mai airport for your flight to Samui Island via Bangkok. On arrival you will be met by your Exotissimo guide and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free to enjoy the beach and hotel activities. Dinner is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

KOH SAMUI (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning take a tour of the island. Discover the Big Buddha temple, see the famous Grandfather/mother rocks, a traditional Muslim fishing village, see monkeys at work. In the afternoon you will be taken to the Eranda Spa where you will experience Thai massage while enjoying amazing views out to sea. After the treatments, return to the hotel. Dinner at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

KOH SAMUI (B)
Morning is free at leisure. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Baan Sabia Spa on Big Buddha Beach where you will receive a rejuvenating body scrub treatment (2 to 3 hours). Return transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

KOH SAMUI (B)
Day free at leisure. Optional excursion to Ang-Thong National Marine Park by speedboat. Overnight at hotel.

DEPART KOH SAMUI (B)
Day at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Bangkok and international connection.
